This year the Eagle Academy Foundation will declare May 3rd - May 10th as its 3rd Annual Eagle Week Program, a 360º strategy to help inner city young men succeed.


  • EAF Parent Engagement Expo - Free community event for thousands of parents to discuss effective strategies to support and engage their sons. Workshops will cover a variety of topics including: Strategies to Handle Adolescent Males, Financial Savvy Tips for Preparing for College, Surviving as a Single Parent, and How to Decrease Stress and Increase Productivity; a Tribute Panel featuring Parents of our Eagle Principals; numerous Exhibitors; and back by popular demand - Author, International Speaker & Life Coach Emma Fraser Pendleton.

  • EAF Issues & Policy Forum - Education Panel - Free community event open to parents, community leaders and the media to hear from a distinguished panel addressing the educational issues impacting young men of color, moderated by Errol Louis of NY1. This panel will include representatives from New Visions, Teach for America, Young Women’s Leadership, Charter Schools and The Eagle Academy Foundation.

  • EAF Annual Saving Our Sons Breakfast - An elegant affair to honor individuals and corporations who support Eagle Academy Foundation. Our 2014 Honorees are: Roger A. BlissettManaging Director, U.S. Strategy RBC Capital Markets, LLC and
    Roger W. Ferguson, Jr.President and Chief Executive Officer TIAA-CREF. The breakfast celebrates the achievements of the Eagle Academies and Scholars at all five campuses.

  • EAF All-Male Youth Summit - This summit will provide workshops focused on social action, presentation skills and leadership development for our student ambassadors. There will also be networking opportunities with our Corporate Partners and a significant emphasis on our Eagle scholars becoming agents of change in their communities. Program partners include Move This World, Citizen’s Committee for Children, Youth Build and Changing Perceptions Theatre.
